Our resource person Mr. Gagan Shrivastava Alumnus of Goldsmiths, University of London, NationalSchool of Drama, New Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, Bhopal. I am an actor, actor trainer, and performance maker.For over 15 years, I have worked with eminent theatredirectors of India and abroad such as Padma BhushanLate Mr. K N Panikkar (Kerala), Padma Shri Mrs. NeelamMansingh Chawdhray (Chandigarh), Mr. Firoz AbbasKhan (Mumbai), Anna Furse (London), Mario Baigini(Italy) and many others. I am also trained in body-based practices like Chau,Kalarippayattu, Yoga, and Butoh. In the year 2018,inspired by several Western and Indian actors’ trainingpractices, I developed an intense training program foractors/performers, to provide a deeper understandingof themselves and help them find individualuniqueness as creative artists. Under the workshop“Trial & Error”, I have trained more than 400 studentsacross India, who are now working professionally in thetheatre and film industry. I am also the founder of Earth Theatre Group based inBhopal and a visiting faculty of acting at theprestigious MP School of Drama, Bhopal, and TagoreUniversity, Bhopal. I have collaborated with severalindividual artists as a creative director for short filmsand rap songs.
